Matt Gehrke is a Principal of Allante Corp., where he leads the sourcing, acquisition, capitalization, and development of real estate projects throughout the western United States. With more than 35 years of experience spanning real estate development, finance, construction, and law, he specializes in transforming underutilized properties into luxury residential, multifamily, resort and commercial developments.

Raised in a family of home builders and real estate professionals, Matt's development and construction career began before law school.  He assisted in the management of his family’s multi-family assets and worked on a framing crew in the ground-up construction of two new apartment communities.  Throughout his career, he has participated in the development of more than 80 single-family homes, several multifamily apartment communities, condominium portfolios, retail centers, hospitality projects, self-storage facilities, light industrial properties, and mixed-use developments across the United States, Mexico, and Costa Rica.

Matt's integrated background as both developer and attorney enables him to lead every phase of the development process—from site selection and acquisition through entitlement, capital formation, design, construction, lease-up, stabilization, and disposition. His experience includes structuring private investment offerings, negotiating complex joint ventures, securing development financing, and managing sophisticated real estate transactions.

Today, Matt leads Allante's active development pipeline. His passion is identifying exceptional opportunities, creating the vision for transformative projects, assembling the right partners and capital, and advancing developments to execution-ready status before collaborating with experienced operating teams to bring those projects to life.
